Naples Pride: BTX Bar joins the parade to celebrate the freedom to be yourself

BTX Bar Italia is Pride

This is not a seasonal slogan, nor is it a simple marketing campaign. It is the genetic code of Italy's first "Botox Bar," which, after opening its first center in Southern Italy in Naples on June 4th, on Saturday, June 27th will participate in the Naples Pride with a dedicated float to celebrate every person's right to freely express their identity.

The BTX Bar float will be created under the artistic direction of Mariposa, a staple of the Neapolitan nightlife scene, whose core principle is the freedom to be yourself regardless of ethnicity, faith, gender, or sexual orientation.

The initiative is part of a broader program that sees BTX Bar engaged year-round through specific projects and collaborations with the LGBTQIA+ community, which are also featured in the integrated campaign “BTX is Pride”, a manifesto dedicated to individual freedom.

“When we chose Naples as the location for our first center in Southern Italy, we knew we were coming to a city that has always been a symbol of inclusion, cultural exchange, and freedom” comments Flavio Ronzi, CEO of BTX Bar Italia. “Participating in Pride means giving continuity to a vision we carry out every day in our clinics: building spaces where people can feel welcomed, respected, and represented regardless of their sexual orientation and gender identity."

BEyou: inclusive aesthetic medicine pathways for transgender and non-binary people

BTX Bar's commitment is also reflected in the renewal of BEyou, a program open to LGBTQIA+ associations throughout Italy that applies a subsidized private healthcare rate for individuals undergoing transition.

‍"The BEyou program was created with goals consistent with our mission: aesthetic medicine should not be a luxury, but an accessible tool, especially for those undergoing a gender affirmation journey," explains Matteo Micucci, founder of BTX Bar.

The patient alias registry

Among the most innovative initiatives introduced by the network is the alias registry dedicated to transgender and non-binary patients, which makes BTX Bar one of the very few medical clinics in Italy to have implemented an intake system capable of recognizing and respecting a person's gender identity throughout their clinical journey.

“Aesthetic medicine should never ask people to conform to a pre-established model," concludes Camilla Di Pasquali, Founder and Medical Director of BTX Bar Italia. "Our task is to support every patient, like a unique and unrepeatable work of art, in protecting and enhancing their own uniqueness. Inclusion, listening, and personalization are not side activities; for us, they are an integral part of good medical practice."

From the new Naples location, a space of over 400 sqm housing medical clinics, the national Patient Care service and the new BTX Academy for advanced professional training, all the way to the streets of Pride, BTX Bar continues to promote a more accessible, inclusive, and contemporary vision of aesthetic medicine.

BTX Bar in Naples is located at Via Roberto Bracco, 27, 80133 (just a few steps from Via Toledo and the Quartieri Spagnoli).
