2. WHAT ARE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TOOLS

3.4 Marketing, profiling, and remarketing cookies and tools

The site uses, or may use, third-party tools for marketing, remarketing, advertising campaign measurement, and conversion analysis. These tools are not necessary for the site to function and are only activated with the user's express consent.

Specifically, the site uses:

Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, for campaign measurement, marketing, remarketing, and displaying content or ads relevant to user interactions;

TikTok Pixel, provided by TikTok Technology Limited / TikTok Information Technologies UK Limited, for campaign measurement, marketing, remarketing, and conversion analysis on the TikTok platform;

any additional advertising or tracking tools linked to digital campaigns activated by the Data Controller.

These tools may collect information about the pages visited, actions taken by the user, interactions with the site, the origin of the visit, conversion events, and, more generally, browsing behavior.

3.5 Embedded content from third-party platforms

The site may include embedded content, such as videos, posts, maps, widgets, or other content from third-party platforms, including, but not limited to, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.

Viewing or interacting with such content may involve the transmission of data to third parties and the installation of cookies or other tracking tools by the respective platforms. Where such content involves the use of non-technical cookies or tools, they are loaded only after the user has provided consent, except where technical methods are in place to prevent tracking beforehand.

4. PURPOSES

Cookies and other tracking tools may be used for the following purposes:

The use of non-technical cookies and tracking tools, including non-essential analytics, marketing pixels, remarketing tools, and tracking embedded content, occurs exclusively with the user's prior consent, in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.

6. HOW TO PROVIDE, MODIFY, AND WITHDRAW CONSENT

Upon first accessing the site, users can express their preferences via the dedicated cookie banner or management panel.

Users may accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or manage their preferences by category or through the options provided in the management panel.

8. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The Data Controller shall, where necessary, regulate relationships with third-party providers in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

9. DATA TRANSFERS TO THIRD COUNTRIES

The use of tools provided by third parties, such as Google, Meta, TikTok, or other digital platforms, may involve the processing or transfer of personal data to countries outside the European Economic Area.

In such cases, the transfer takes place in compliance with Articles 44 et seq. of the GDPR, based on adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or other safeguards provided by applicable law.

10. MANAGING COOKIES VIA BROWSER

Users can also manage or disable cookies through their browser settings. Disabling technical cookies may impair the proper functioning of the site or some of its features.

Browser settings are an additional tool beyond the cookie preference management panel available on the site.

11. DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS

In the cases and within the limits provided by the GDPR, the user may exercise the rights recognized by Articles 15 et seq. of the Regulation, including the right to request access to personal data from the Data Controller, as well as rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, the right to data portability, where applicable, and the right to object pursuant to Art. 21 of the GDPR.

With regard to non-technical cookies and tracking tools based on consent, the user also has the right to withdraw their consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal, by using the cookie preference management panel available on the site.

In any case, the user has the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali), pursuant to Art. 77 of the GDPR, if they believe that the processing of their personal data is being carried out in violation of applicable law.
