Does Botox hurt? Am I really at risk of paralysis?

The truth is that the pain is minimal (many patients describe it as a "slight discomfort") and in our practice, we do everything we can to put you at ease: stress balls, plush toys to squeeze (yes, we're talking about Tina the Boobie) and doctors who talk to you throughout the treatment to help you relax. No surprise needles!

Botox does not paralyze, when used correctly and by competent professionals who know how to administer it. It works by relaxing the muscles in a controlled and targeted way.
